What is BB Code? BB Code is what just about everything in this forum is made of. Different codes do different things. BB Code does not require ANY coding experience at all. To express BB Code without actually making the code active, do something like this. [*BLANK*] Hello [*/BLANK*] See how there are asterisks around the word "BLANK" That makes the code not work. The code BLANK isn't actually a working code either.

I will start with this basic one that shows your Username.

Hi Guest It would show your name, like what penguin said, so BB code relates to other things not just color & text.

So Cent, you did color=green]Sup {*USERNAME*}[/color

I removed each bracket and added asterisks to Username but with the brackets on, and no asterisks it would say

Sup Guest

I don't get it are bracets meant to stay or go?

remove the asterisks in "{*USERNAME*}" and it will say

Hi Guest
